About Us

Who Are We?
Metrotown Family Chiropractic was founded February of 2000. The clinic consists of owner Dr. Moe Baloo (Chiropractor), and associates Rob Hemsworth (Registered Massage Therapist), Dr. Kristen Brown (Naturopathic Physician), and Natasha Ignjatovic (Office Manager). We are all dedicated to providing the best complementary and holistic care like chiropractic in the form of gentle adjustments, stretching and exercise.
Dr. Moe Baloo, BSc, DC, Chiropractor
Dr. Baloo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from the University of Winnipeg before completing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University (Minneapolis, Minnesota). He serves as a clinical examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Dr. Baloo also works at Douglas College where he treats students, athletes, faculty and staff.

Various products can be used to maximize the benefits of chiropractic care. These include:
- Custom made, foot orthotics by The Orthotic Group – Orthotics help to align the body and take pressure off the lower back, hips and knees in people who stand, walk or run for long periods of time. Most extended health care plans cover orthotics.
- Water-based, orthopedic pillows by Mediflow – For more restful sleep and alleviation of neck pain and stiffness, consider an orthopedic pillow.
- Exercise and stability balls – These balls can be used for core muscle strengthening. Please contact us for more information about the services and products we offer.

 To book appointments:
Please call 604-430-1525. Services may be partially covered by MSP, ICBC, WCB and extended health plans. Walk-ins are welcome and no referral is necessary.
Location: We are located in the heart of Burnaby at the corner of Kingsway and Nelson, beside The Bay, Metrotown. Our office is located on the second floor of the Metrotown Medical Building (Suite 202 – 6411 Nelson Ave.).
Clinic hours: We are open Tuesday to Saturday and can accommodate early morning and evening appointments.
Parking: Free underground and street level parking is available for patients.
